Finding the Area of Equilateral Triangle is pretty straightforward. You can simply use this formula, where $x$ is the side length of the triangle:

$$area = \frac{\sqrt{3}}{4}x^2$$

But this isn't very fun...

I think it's much more fun to sing the formula below to the tune of Vanilla Ice's classic hit Ice, Ice, Baby.

$$half \times half \times \sqrt{3}$$

All you have to do is take half of the side length, square that number, and then multiply it by $\sqrt{3}$. That's the area. For example, the area of an equilateral triangle with side length $16$ is...

$$8 \times 8 \times \sqrt{3} = 64\sqrt{3}$$
